MEDICAL LABORATORY is a laboratory where tests are carried outon clinical specimens to obtain information about the health of a patient to aid in diagnosis, treatment prevention of disease. Lama is having a State of the Art fully equipped Medical Laboratory as per the specifications of the Oman Ministry of Health equipped with Biochemistry Machine, Hematology Machine, Immunology Machine, Glycohemoglobin Analyzer and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Analyzer.
PHARMACY
PHARMACY is the clinical health science that links medical science with chemistry, and it’s charged with the safe, effective use and control of medicals and drugs. Lama Pharmacy is having more than 2500 types of drugs between Oral Solutions, Tablets/Capsules, Sensuosities, Drops, Inhalers, Sprays, Injections, Inhalers, Creams/Ointments, Multi Vitamins, Herbal etc.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
PHYSIOTHERAPY, also called as the “Physical Therapy”, attempts to treat what limits a person’s abilities to move and do things in their daily life. It’s the treatment of diseases, injury, deformity, or disability to improve the quality of life, In Lama, Physiotherapists use exercises, hands on techniques including manual therapy, heat therapies, trigger point therapies, patient educations etc.
RADIOLOGY / X-RAY
RADIOLOGY or X-RAY is the medical discipline that uses medical imaging to diagnose diseases and guide their treatment, it’s a type of electromagnetic radiation, just like visible light sending particulars through the body and images are recorded on a computer or film. In Lama, we are having a full digital X-Ray department which is for different purposes Chest, Joints, and Muscular requisites.
ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY / ECG
ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY or ECG is the process of producing an electrocardiogram, a recording of the heart’s electrical activity an electrical of the heart which is a graph of voltage versus time of the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes placed on the skin. In lama, we have a fully digital modern technique of ECG devices to perform the test accordingly.
